#MySundaySnapshot this week is (one of many) out takes from our annual trip to photograph the oldest (Bluebell) in bluebells. We’ve photographed her in the same bluebell wood in Bushy Park, next to Hampton Court Palace, every year since she was born, making this year our eighth trip (all eight photos are over on my Instagram feed if you’re interested!) Although this year was the chilliest it was also very bright – hence the hands in front of her face – and while this wasn’t what I set out to achieve I actually think it’s a rather nice shot!

A very cute photo – I wanted to hide my face as a child but my mother always made put my hands down. Love it! #MMBC

What a lovely idea, sometimes the shots you are not going for end up being the ones you like the most.
