#MySundaySnapshot this week is a rare selfie of Misery Guts and I on an (equally rare) childfree day out. With the oldest away at Brownie camp we left the younger two with grandparents and enjoyed a lazy sun-soaked day with old friends at a festival in the New Forest – and needless to say we all made the most of it! (If you have a look at my latest insta stories and you’ll see what I mean!)

What a lovely photo of you both. It’s so nice to have time away from the kids, although my husband and I have precisely one day a year when we get away from all three of mine. That’s when we go to London for the day to celebrate our wedding anniversary – and that is happening tomorrow!
