Hello and welcome to week eight (yes eight!) of #fortheloveofblog – a brand new Tuesday linky party hosted by me Crummy Mummy, Claire at Life, Love and Dirty Dishes, Talya at Motherhood: The Real Deal and Nigel at DIY Daddy.
The linky is LIVE and it’s time to come and link up all your brilliant blog posts!
If you’re new #fortheloveofblog opens at 6am on Tuesdays and runs until midnight on Fridays and absolutely anything goes! The aim of the game is to link up your favourite blog posts and engage, connect and create a linky party we all look forward to joining in with each week.
This week I’m linking up a post sharing my thoughts on a story that made the headlines last week: Are primary school weigh-ins really all that bad? I know lots of people have an opinion on the subject and I can’t wait to hear your point of view!
Last week’s linky
Each week Claire, Talya, Nigel and I each choose our favourite post to feature and link back to (meaning four chances to earn an all-important back link to help your domain authority!)
My favourite post:
My favourite post was by Dana at A Mamanista Life with Legoland A Family Fun Day Out. As restrictions start to ease post Covid and with the school summer holidays on the horizon I’m interested to know how family favourites like Legoland have adapted and it’s great to see a memorable day out can still be had.
Claire’s favourite post:
Claire’s favourite post was by Joy at Artful Homemaking with her Homemade ranch dressing mix recipe. Claire says: “I’m going to give Joy’s ranch dressing recipe a go!” (And I don’t know about you but I think Joy’s handwritten labels look fab!)
Talya’s favourite post:
Talya’s favourite post was by Mom Of Two Little Girls with Top Tips for Enjoying City Breaks with Kids. Talya says: “It was jam packed full of practical advice on how to have a good time not a nightmare when taking kids on city breaks.”
Nigel’s favourite post:
Nigel’s favourite post was Intrusion by Where the Wild Things Were.
So, if you fancy joining in with the linky too, here’s how!

The rules
The rules are simple – there aren’t many!
- Link up a maximum of two posts
- Please comment on each of the hosts posts (I’ve put that bit in bold this week as not everyone has been doing so!) and one other of your choice (of course, you’re welcome to comment on more!)
- For every link up you’ll get at least two comments from the hosts
- Each week Claire, Talya, Nigel and I will each choose our favourite post to feature and link back to in the following weeks’ linky, which equals lots of magic back links!
