There have been some new arrivals in BB’s classroom this week. A local farm has given them some eggs to look after, and they started hatching mid-week. I was lucky enough to be able to watch one when I arrived to collect her from an after school club and I don’t know who was more excited – the parents or the kids! I’ve never seen an egg hatch before and it was quite amazing seeing a little foot emerge, and then the head, and a pair of beady eyes.
This is too cute, my girls would have loved to watch this
Thank you for linking up
I know, I thought it was such a great idea for the school to do, especially given all the health & safety laws there are now!!
Ah, I always love watching little ducklings hatch they are always so cute, Clio lending a helping hand for Coombe Mill
It was the first time I’d seen an egg hatch and was so exciting!
Wow, how cute! Not something you see every day!
I felt very privileged and it’s been amazing how fast they’ve grown in just a week!x
Aww those babies are so cute! #mysundayphoto
You should see the size of them now – they’ve grown so quickly!
oh that’s cute. we were at a pet shop today and they had half a dozen chicks in a glass box. one of them was just desperate to get out and kept running at the glass every time it saw us. i felt so sad for her.:(
That IS sad…BB’s school ones have gone back to the farm now but they were definitely happy in the classroom for the week they were therex
