Spring has sprung on the allotment! I got a whole glorious afternoon there this weekend when Misery Guts took the children shopping (there was lots of whispering and giggling from BB so I’m assuming it was Mother’s Day related – I’m not sure though as I’m writing this before the Big Day). The allotment has become my bolthole since the rest of the family is no longer interested and when I got there I discovered intruders had been in my shed (note it’s now ‘my’ shed, not ours!) There was a beautiful David Austin shrub rose inside with a note informing me it was an early Mother’s Day present! It will be a while before it blooms so in the meantime #MySundayPhoto is a shot of some of the primroses nodding their cheery heads in the breeze. Happy Mothering Sunday!
Aw, that’s lovely. It isn’t Mother’s Day in France until later so no surprise flowers for me today.
Boo hoo – you should insist on two Mother’s Days!!
Love this photo, we’ve just got some plants showing signs of life in our garden

I know!! So thoughtful!x
So relieved to hear your intruders were the generous kind! What a lovely gift. Your primroses are so sweet, love the freshness of your photo 🙂
It was such a thoughtful way to deliver the present too – 10 out of 10 to Misery Guts!!
The photo looks lovely! And also reminded me that I need to clear the potted plants that needs clearing in our terrace. Spring will come and I need to start planting!
I can’t wait to get planting for spring & summer – dahlias are next on my list!
Great photo! I love flowers.
I would love for you to link up to #SilentSunday too https://mummyconstant.com/silentsunday-6-march-2016/ 🙂

I used to link up to Silent Sunday but can’t remember why I stopped! I will come back!!
Lovely photo, love the way little droplets of water settle on flowers.
I love the idea of an allotment, there were some next to my house when I was growing up and I used to dream of the kind of things I would plant if I had one x
Having an allotment is such good fun – quite a commitment in the summer months but so worth itx
