Things are really starting to take off on the allotment. After family fun went wrong and I gave up trying to cajole the others to come with me the allotment has become my bolthole, and I’ve been slowly chipping away at it by myself. This weekend I planted some bee-loving scabious in butterfly blue, which ought to flower until November. I love the frilly petals, and the way they dance in the breeze. When I got home and looked in the mirror I realised I had a decidedly red face – I’ve got sunburn in April!
It’s great to see things jumping into life in the gardens and allotments now.
Thank you for linking up
The allotment must give you such joy when you can see things like this come to life. Great photo
That is just beautiful!
I love that colour, stunnig. I’d enjoy the peace and quiet 😉
I always wish for an allotment but I think I cant really plant plant as I am scared of slugs. This photo is promising an amazing spring! #MySundayPhoto
