This week I’m sharing a photo taken on my wedding day in July 2010. The image became all the more poignant this week because my Granny, pictured on the right with Misery Guts and I, died. She contracted pneumonia shortly after Christmas and went downhill from there, but thankfully there was time for us all to say goodbye.Β I have no idea what we were talking about when the shutter went down, butΒ I’m so glad to have this picture.
Such a beautiful photo! So sorry for your loss x

It was such a lovely day!
Such a lovely photo memory, your Gran looks lovely in this photo, one to treasure.
She was 89 at the time and looked amazing. We had an old Routemaster bus to transport the guests from the church to wedding reception and she insisted on sitting on the top deck!
A gorgeous photo, I love how a camera catches a moment in time and allows us to look back fondly. I am so sorry for your loss #MySundayPhoto
We had a great photographer too who really captured the essence of the day…
