#MySundaySnapshot comes from our allotment for the second week running, where there have been mysterious goings on in the sunflower bed. This sunflower seemed normal enough, until it got bigger and we realised it appears to have eaten a twin! The kids are fascinated about the extra foliage in the middle and it’s sparked all sorts of questions about how it happened and why, and the life lesson is we’ll never know. It won’t win any prizes but we rather like it!
Oh my, that is weird. I can’t say I’ve ever seen anything like that before!

Oh wow! What an amazing and wonderfully unique sunflower! I think it’s a rather fabulous example of being an individual, why be like everyone else when you can be your own sunflower! Beautiful! #MMBC
Sometimes nature has its own plans and you have to marvel and then go with it. #MMBC
What an interesting sunflower. Who needs prizes, when you can be slightly quirky and hold your own. #MMBC
Oh wow! I have never seen a sunflower do that before. I can image how fascinated the kids are by it.
