#MySundaySnapshot this week comes from our kitchen window sill, where our Christmas amaryllis has put in an early appearance. As you can see there was no waiting for Christmas day – the blooms are loud and proud and as big as dinner plates! What you can’t see out of shot is a second stem which I reckon will flower in time for the big day – I don’t mind the early appearance of the first though, as there’s nothing more cheerful than a window sill of flowering bulbs when you stumble in to make a cup of tea on a winter morning.
What a stunning flower and a gorgeous colour, I can see how it cheers you.
That is really beautiful. Such a vivid colour.
That is simply beautiful! I love the colour of it. So bright x
Amaryllis is one of my favorite flowers – it is so beautiful, bright, and cheerful!
oops! #MMBC
How lovely. Even better to flower in the run up to Christmas. #mmbc
I love these flowers. I always kill them so we don’t have them but they are so pretty.
That is a stunning shot – what a beautiful bloom! Thanks for linking up and for sharing your snaps with #MySundaySnapshot.
