It’s been a funny old year on the weather front hasn’t it: late snow followed by a heatwave followed by an unusually warm start to September. The temperature has done funny things on our allotment too, where plants that would usually flower much earlier in the year were stunned into shock and I thought they simply wouldn’t do anything this year. I was wrong though: roses, dahlia and Japanese anemone have all got a second wind and burst into bloom in the last week and #MySundayPhoto is our latest harvest. It’s been raining all weekend here so I hope they brighten up your Sunday!

What a pretty collection of flowers. Beautiful photo x
Hi Natalie, how can a basket of colourful flowers not brighten a person day? They look lovely and cheerful and are no doubt a welcome splash of colour after the weather you’ve been having.
