#MySundaySnapshot this week comes from our allotment, where everything has gone a bit bonkers since the heatwave over Easter weekend. Things that shouldn’t be out are out, things that should be out have finished, and at this rate summer will be over before it’s even started! One thing I am pleased to see though is this cherry blossom, which has burst into bloom after a disastrous start last year when little black bugs put paid to any fruit. This year I cleaned the tree with tree wash in winter to get rid of any unwelcome visitors and their eggs, which seems to have done the trick. Fingers crossed we will actually get cherries this year – watch this space!

What a beautiful photo!
It sounds like you’ve done all you can to protect the tree. Good luck x
Lovely to see cherry blossom. We used to have a cherry tree. Only had a few cherries from it in all the years. The bullfinches stripped buds and cherries. Hope you get to enjoy yours. #MMBC
I love cherry blossoms – beautiful photo! #MMBC
Your cherry blossom is beautiful. Fingers crossed you don’t get any more bugs. I noticed my lupins were covered in aphids this week and am currently battling the critters! #mmbc
That looks gorgeous. I think the changeable weather has made the flowers crazy x
Cherry blossom is just beautiful isn’t it #mysundaysnapshot
