They say preparation is the key to success, and I don’t know about you but that means I’m going to need all the preparation I can to get through the next few months with a smile on my face.
With the nation on lockdown thanks to coronavirus, like millions of parents I’ve found myself an instant and unwitting homeschooler, with no idea how long it’s going to last or when the kids will be able to return to school or nursery. Making planning ahead essential.
So, when clever British stationery brand Boxclever Press offered to send us their new family life diary to review I had no idea how timely – or apt – it would turn out to be.
It might seem like a funny time of year to launch a diary but the family life book is a 16-month academic and full year diary designed to coincide with each school year. The next school year isn’t something I’d usually be thinking about yet but what with the coronavirus pandemic it’s currently all I can think about – especially since it may involve my input in more ways than I ever imagined! So, how can Boxclever help?
Planning ahead with the Boxclever Press family life diary
Featuring Boxclever’s signature motifs with foil detail on the cover the family life diary (£14.99) runs from August 2020 to December 2021 and comes in two choices of colour – grey or black. It’s got a week-to-week layout and seven columns to a grid, as well as ribbon page markers to help you keep on track.
As a family of five and with baby number four due shortly it can be hard to find calendars and planners with space for each member of the family and their activities, but that’s not an issue with Boxclever’s range.
As well as the diary pages there are handy sections including ‘budgeting & notes’ and ‘weekly routines’ which split into morning and afternoon – just the job now I’m homeschooling an eight-year-old and a five-year-old while trying to keep a three-year-old happy at the same time.
There are also sticker sheets featuring everything from back to school reminders (whenever that turns out to be!) to doctor and vet appointments to avoid writing everything out in long hand, and an address and contacts book which sits in a little sleeve at the back.
If you need a bit of cheering up and could do with a bit of help planning ahead too the family life diary is available now via Boxclever’s website, which is currently open for business as usual and has lots of other clever stationery to tempt you too!
Have you found yourself planning ahead in ways you could never have imagined lately? Is a family life diary something you could do with too?
We were gifted a family life diary by Boxclever Press in exchange for this post. As always all opinions are my own and based on my own honest experience.
I love Boxclever Press! I get their busy days planner every year and wouldn’t be without it! It’s great for both work and home stuff.
That sounds like a wonderful tool for family life and now is the perfect time to use it. Pinned and tweeted. #MMBC
