Zero. Thatβs how many alcohol-free nights I had in the latest school holidays. None, nada, zilch.
The thought of a nice cold glass of wine or beer at the end of the day was quite honestly the only thing that kept me going some days, and how I survived without going batsh*t mental.
Regular followers will know that I work from home, so when it comes to school holidays that means I work from home with not one, not two, but three kids in tow. So Iβm basically doing β or trying to do β two separate jobs at the same time.
Quite frankly itβs enough to test the patience of a saint.
Whether youβre not quite there yet on the school holidays front or you’ve been there, done it and got the t-shirt I thought Iβd have a go at my very first infographic and share with you how our school holidays went in numbers.
The school holidays in numbers
Can you relate to any of these numbers? Is there anything youβd add? If it made you smile feel free to share it!
Absolutley loved this!!! Its like you’ve read my mind!!!
Haha – poor hubby had to put up with me a few time ranting on the phone ‘rant rant rant, we’re putting them in childcare full time next year they’re driving me mad blah blah blah’ Hubby – ‘uuum, I’m just in a meeting, can I call you back?’
Brilliant! I think a managed about five alcohol free nights, but only because I was ill and couldn’t face it. Definitely with you in the tidying up front, my house permanently looked like it had been hit by a Tasmanian devil the whole holiday

#FamilyFun Luckily I only have one which means I lower the alcohlic percentage I require to function. Infant retuning to work as a teacher means that percentage increases haha x lovely post.
haha, love it. You are a true wonder woman doing all that! Cheers to you π

The amount of meals a child demands per day in the holidays……. about 10!
#twinkleytuesday
hahaha my son isn’t yet in school but I feel like I consumed more than 1,000,000 calories since he was born #TwinklyTuesday
Haha, yep – nodding along to all of this. It’s the daft arguments that really get to me! x
#FamilyFunLinky
Should my alcohol consumption have gone down now school has started again? And should my house be tidy now? If so I’m seriously behind
