There’s beenΒ a definite whiff of spring in the air in our neck of the woods this week, even if we did have a teeny tiny bit of snow and the rest of the UK appears to have had lots of it. It’s staying lighter longer, the daffs are popping up on the allotment and the spring flowers are starting to show themselves. This weekend I potted up some primroses and decorated my she shed with some fresh bunting – I’m so over winter and am determined to see some signs of spring and summer to follow! I’m also trying to get ahead before the newΒ baby arrivesΒ asΒ it might not be easy to spend as muchΒ timeΒ on the allotment this spring… Have you had snow where you are? Are you seeing signs of spring too?
I pointed out crocus shoots to the children yesterday – they were not as excited as I was to see them.
Yes BB’s not as excited as I am at the daffodil shoots either…
A real feel good photo, it does feel like spring is on the way and I’m really noticing the days drawing out.
I can also smell something in the air – promise I think!
Such a lovely colourful capture very spring like indeed. We did see some colour whilst we were out and about yesterday, and I must admit it was lovely to see it as it sure brightened up our day.xx #mysundayphoto
I just hope we don’t get any snow to kill things off!
That’s a scene I like to see, it feels to cold down here for anything yet
Thank you for linking up
It was jolly cold on the allotment too I have to say!
It looks like you have been busy!
I can’t wait for spring to arrive x
I’m looking forward to seeing all the bulbs we planted last year appear!
You’re getting nice and prepared for Spring
Trying to get ahead before the new baby comes too!
No signs of Spring here yet or much snow! Those primroses look pretty and sounds like you’ve been busy preparing for Spring π
Fingers crossed it reaches you soon!
Well done green fingers!
Thanks!x
